Orhan Kerkezi, head of Prishtina Kino Kabaret!

Prishtina International Film Festival published its first project a few weeks ago: Prishtina Kino Kabaret. It aims to bring together artists and filmmakers from all over the world, so for a week they create their artistic productions in cooperation with one another. An ambitious undertaking such as this surely needed a leader that is just as ambitious and creative, someone like director Orhan Kerkezi, who is also a co-founder of PriFest.
"Knowing Kerkezi's experience as a filmmaker, TV show producer, and creator of documentaries and music videos, I think there is no-one more suitable for leading the first edition of Prishtina Kino Kabaret" said Vjosa Berisha, director of PriFest. "Throughout his career, Orhan Kerkezi has worked with many international artists, so for the Prishtina Kino Kabaret participants, it is a very good opportunity to meet him and learn from his experience. He has always been a good friend and supporter of the festival", concluded Berisha.
Part of the group of people that are making Prishtina Kino Kabaret possible is also designer Agon Nimani, who is also a lecturer at the American University in Kosovo, in the field of Multimedia.
The youngest member of the Prishtina Kino Kabaret trinomial is Rita Krasniqi. She is currently studying directing and has created many individual projects which were rated well in many artistic events in the region and beyond.

Prishtina Kino Kabaret will be held during Prishtina International Film Festival, from 22-29 April. The participants are artists from Kosovo, Albania and other countries from around the world, and in seven days, they will create a film/documentary/video art, with a spontaneously created staff within Kabaret.

"There are A-list festivals and B-list festivals in the world. For me, PriFilmFest is an A-list festival from this first edition."
